IRTE's latest production, THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY BLONDES opens this Sunday, August 10, 2014. It's our own improvised action packed adventure based on audience suggestions and the brave teamwork of the most famous blondes in the world!
To get us all up to speed, cast member Jamie Maloney, put on his wig and set out to discover little known facts about his all time favorite famous blondes...

Steve McQueen - Used to
make strange requests in his contracts for items in bulk like electric
razors and jeans. It was later discovered that he donated them to a
reform school he spent time in as a teen. When he was in the Marine
corps, Steve was assigned to the honor guard responsible for guarding
President Harry Truman’s yacht.
Mamie Van Doren - Once had a drink thrown on her by The Beatles George Harrison.
Farrah Fawcett - Earned
more in royalties from her famous poster than she did from her work on
Charlie’s Angels. A Barbie doll was produced to emulate her look in the
poster.

almost one film a week in 1909. She was so well known for her long
blonde curls that when she cut her hair short in 1928 it was front page
news in The New York Times. One of her curls was auctioned for $15,000.

Her father, actor Vic Morrow was decapitated in a helicopter accident
while filming Twilight Zone: The Movie. Her middle name was taken in
honor of family friend Jason Robards.
Sharon Stone - Supposedly has an IQ of 148 but admitted to lying about being a member of Mensa.
